HOW DO BUILDER'S FORGE RANKS WORK?

Here at Builder's Forge we have a two track rank system, one based on a players displayed build skill and the other on a players commitment to the server. This way we recognise people irrespective of ability or activity. The two rank systems are designed to work side by side, for example, a trusted member of the community could also be a skilled builder, as such their rank would be displayed as [T][S].

When you first join the server, you start out with the Guest rank, this rank allows you to build in the Guest map.

If you wish to join the community and build on the Creative map, you will need to submit a rankup form, you may submit your first rankup form whenever you would like and has no requirements, simply submitting a form will grant you the Builder rank. If you choose to also submit photos of your builds in your first rankup form you have the ability to skip up to the Novice or Apprentice rank if your builds are of that quality. After that, you may submit a rankup form whenever you feel you are ready for the next rank. After you have reached the APPRENTICE rank, there is a 21 day minimum cooldown to submit a rankup for SKILLED.

SKILL BASED RANKS

You can move up the skill rank ladder with the rankup form. The rankup form serves as your way of letting the Staff Team know you feel you have progressed with your building ability with your projects on the server.

RANKUP FORM

[guest]

Guest is the default starting rank for people who join our Minecraft server. Guests have basic commands such as /warp and /tpa and are able to build in the Guest Map.

[builder]

Builder is received after submitting a rankup. Builders get a variety of additional commands such as /home /hdb and /ptime. Builder is the minimum rank required to build in the Creative and Flat maps.

[novice]

This rank is for players who have shown a basic understanding of detailing, texturing, colour palettes and have a few small projects started on the server.

If you wish to put yourself forward for this rank you must already hold the rank of "Builder" and submit an application through our "Rank Up" form.

[apprentice]

This rank is for players who have improved as a Novice, they've shown above average ability and have a couple of projects built on the server.

If you wish to put yourself forward for this rank you must already hold the rank of “Novice” and submit an application through our "Rank Up" form.

[Skilled]

This rank is for players who have produced quality work while holding the rank of apprentice, they’ve been responsible for extensive, coherent projects on the server and as such have earned the responsibility of world edit to assist in said projects.

If you wish to put yourself forward for this rank you must already hold the rank of “Apprentice” and submit an application through our "Rank Up" form.

[Architect]

Players of this rank have demonstrated they can consistently produce quality work while holding the rank of skilled. Architects display an excellent capability for building and an understanding of a variety of styles and scales. Architects have access to World Edit in order to assist with their projects.

Architect is the highest attainable skill based rank. If you wish to put yourself forward for this rank you must already hold the rank of “Skilled” and submit an application through our "Rank Up" form.

[DONATOR]

Players who make a monetary donation to our server will receive this rank. Donators also receive a variety of extra commands and perks as thanks for their support of the community.

[TRUSTED]

This rank is earned through time and commitment to the server. As the name suggests, trusted members deemed trustworthy by the server staff and, as such, are granted additional commands.

This rank is given by Staff.

Staff ranks

The Builder's Forge Staff team keep our community running, enforce our rules and help our players!

When applications are open, members with the Trusted rank may apply to join our Staff team.

[TRAINEE STAFF]

Trainees are our Staff members in training. They have access to moderation commands on the Minecraft and Discord servers.

To apply for staff you must first hold the rank of “Trusted” and submit an application through our “Apply for staff” form.

[STAFF]

Staff members have a variety of roles within the community, though their primary function is to moderate the Minecraft and discord servers, giving assistance to those who need it.

[ADMIN]

Admins are the server owners and run all backend operations for Builder's Forge services such as the Minecraft server, website, discord server and social media accounts.

This rank is not attainable under normal circumstances.
